Cutlers Hill Patient Participation Group.  (PPG)

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) of Cutlers Hill Surgery was established in April 2015 and belongs to the National Association for Patient Participation (NAPP). There are 12 members of the group ranging from working mothers to pensioners who are able to bring our life and career experiences to our discussions. We are all volunteers and are also able to call upon other advisers as and when necessary.  We meet 6  times a year and in addition call special meetings should the need arise, eg the threatened closure of Patrick Stead Hospital and the Rayner Green Resource Centre.
Projects we have instigated are the surgery's notice boards/leaflets. Out of date leaflets have been removed and the notice boards have been categorised into Baby and Toddler, Community, Cutlers Hill and NHS notices. There have been a few changes to the website and there will be more to come.  We are also looking at updating the content of a large folder of information for patients in North East Suffolk.
We are joint members of the Patrick Stead Hospital/Rayner Green Centre Support Group with the League of Friends of Patrick Stead Hospital, the Town Council, Halesworth Health, Halesworth Day Centre, Halesworth Volunteer Centre and the Dementia Carers Group. The PPG is represented on Great Yarmouth & Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) PPG Forum and the CCG Cancer Programme Board.  Group members have attended the CCG Board meeting and AGM in September 2016.
To contact the PPG please, in the first instance, contact the Practice Manager, Mrs Janette Hunter.
