Flu and Covid Programme Autumn/Winter 2023-2024

To give patients the best protection from Covid and Flu during the winter and through the period of greatest risk in December 2023 and early January 2024, providers have been asked to commence autumn/winter seasonal vaccines from mid-September. This is because vaccine protection is highest within the first 3 months following vaccination. Therefore, all combined Flu and Covid clinics will start on 25th September 2023 with further dates throughout October.

Eligible patients will be contacted to book an appointment over the next few weeks. The first invitations will be sent at the beginning of September. Due to time constraints put in place by NHS England to complete this round of vaccinations, wherever possible we will be co-administering both Covid & Flu together.

We are encouraging all patients to call reception after 2pm to book their vaccinations. We will be running Saturday clinics on 30th September and 14th October between 8.30am and 2.30pm and additional clinics Monday to Friday both am and pm.
